For some reason Season 8 is filled with pretentious, untalented, freaks who all think they know everything and then the judges go totally against what the contestants believe. It is so funny and I am enjoying this season not because I like the contestants but I like the unpredictable way the judges throw snot in their faces.
Today's challenge was to take hideous bridesmaids dresses and make them wearable. Tough challenge! I hate wedding outfits, seriously and bridesmaids get the worse end of the stick. It was humorous to see who was going to have trouble and as usual they all thought Michael Costello would. Gretchen after being scolded by Tim Gunn last week has becoming confused and I love it. I dislike the edit they are giving her because she comes off like a total bitch.
They were given a public showcase of the final design and Mondo got a lot of attention. Michael C did as well. Ivy for some reason believed Michael was telling people that she was a bitch and to not vote for her. Maybe they left it out of the edit but that was no where near what any one saw or heard and Michael denied it sincerely so I will buy his side of the story. Ivy is a flipping, pretentious, little bitch though but her outfit was pretty nice to me. Not a total barf fest like he old golden girls outfit from last week.
It was horrible runway show to me since the models are real women and can't really do a runway walk.
The top three were Mondo, Michael Costello and Christopher and the worse three without a doubt were Peach, Michael D and Valerie.
Michael C has more enemies than anyone this season and for what? I have no idea! They say he can't do jack shit but yet he has won two challenges which is only doubled with Gretchen. When everyone else hates his piece the judges love it! Serious sometimes i am just as puzzled as they are but then I think well I did not like half of the others that were safe either so what do I know. So Michael again got all backstabbing talk back stage and no one has really congratulated him except Casanova. The others are fuming and as Gretchen says she is even more confused. "Why didn't I win? wah wah wah" Just shut up Gretchen!!
So Michael C won and Peach was sent home. In my book she was just around for entertainment. I liked her don't get me wrong, she was a ray of sunshine amongst all the pretentious screen whores that this season harvested but that horrible frock she sent down the runway was ticket enough to catch the train home. Michael D I don't really get him either. His voice is whiny and contradict his appearance a bit. His designs have been ho hum from day one. I don't expect to see him there for long.

So far I like Casanova and maybe April but thats it. Oh and another gripe, fashion is about expression and all that bullshit but Andy's hair and long string earring gets on my fracking nerves. I feel like my eyes want to vomit whenever they pan to him and this week he had shaved sides and a raised mohawk with the stupid string earring. I find it too jarring.
So next week I expect more complaining and drama as it seems they will be paired up and from the preview it seems Michael C gets on Mondo's nerves but I will wait and see the full episode before judgment will be passed.
