PROJECT RUNWAY SEASON 8 EPISODE 9

IVY TRYING TO CONSOLE VALERIE = WASTE OF TIME
So another interesting episode of Project Runway. This week the designers were able to stretch their (meager) imaginations and create some high fashion looks and half way through Tim surprises them with the twist that they have to make another look, a ready to wear version of their high fashion look. These looks were inspired by some make up from L'Oreal or something like that (i could care less). The winner gets a whole heap of cash and a photo spread. Stakes are high people! Make it work!

We get the usual talk from the designers as they struggle with their thoughts. We get Valerie breaking down as I predicted. She needs to just go! She is not a strong person and this competition is beating her silly.
All in all it i was a great runway show...for once!

CHRIS'S HIGH FASHION CLOUD PUFF DRESS

CHRIS' READY TO WEAR SNOOZE
Chris was safe this week, he bores the hell out of me.
APRIL'S HIGH FASHION
April again is safe. Not bad, totally April. She will be around another week.

Now lets look at the two of the best and two of the worse before I show the best and worst designers.
GRETCHEN'S HIGH FASHION, NOT BAD
So Grets was in the top this week and for something worth looking at too. I liked the feathers on velvet it looked really interest and the back was excellent. Finally!
GRETS' READY TO WEAR
Her ready to wear piece was kind of boring at first until u see the risque split at the side. Was nice to see.

ANDY'S HIGH FASHION - THUMBS UP

ANDY'S READY TO WEAR
Andy was not a total drag this week...well with the designs, he still looks like a sick drag queen. His High Fashion was stunning and kept with the Metallic theme without looking like metal and his ready to wear was simple but still very interesting he got the second best and well deserved it.
Now for the bottom:
COSTELLO'S TRAIN WRECK

SIMPLE BUT TWO MUCH LEGS AND TOO MUCH BUST
Michael Costello's first time in the bottom and he was scared out his whitties! Awwh! Whatever! The High Fashion had promise if he had cut off 10 or so yards off the back of it. Jeez what the hell was up with that train? The ready to wear was nice but the bust line was too low then the skirt too short. She looked like a moderately expensive call girl.
VALERIE'S BARF HIGH FASHION

VALERIE'S READY TO WEAR - REALIZED IT WAS A CRYSTAL CHALLENGE SO SEWED THREE CRYSTALS  ONTO THE FRONT OF HER DRESS.
So Yeah Valerie sucked yet again. After all the crying and breaking down she still made shit. She should have gone home seriously but the person sent home was even worse and both have very poor taste.

Now for the one going home:
IVY'S MERMAID DISASTER

IVY'S READY TO WEAR RUBBISH
So Ivy finally bit the dust. I have seen her fall down and down this entire competition. She has no taste whatsoever. She has skills but this week they were completely absent and it was  a shame what she sent down the runway. The judges couldn't decide between her and Valerie. They should have done a double elimination but seriously they need someone to send home next week so  Valerie won out.

AND THE WINNER IS:
MONDO!!!!
SO MONDO - HIGH FASHION

THAT'S HOW YOU DO A TRAIN

PHOTO SHOOT

MONDO LOOKING LIKE A MAN FINALLY

READY TO WEAR AND SLIMMING TOO...THUMBS UP
Mondo's second win in a row. I think we are finally seeing who will be the final three and Mondo definitely has to be in there. Second win in a row and well deserved both times. The prize this week was $20 000.00 and a photo spread in Marie Clair. He deserved it and now as he states he has $20 014.00 in his bank account.
This week was an excellent week and I give it a 9/10
